What are the advantages of welding industrial robots?
Should we pay more attention when using welding robots? What precautions
should we take? Let's take a look at the precautions to take when operating an
automatic welding robot!

The emergence and application of welding robots have improved the working environment and reduced working hours for workers. Workers no longer need to work long hours; they only need to load and unload workpieces. They no longer need to endure the sparks, arc light, and fumes of welding, freeing them from heavy physical labor.
Precautions for using welding robots:
I. Precautions before operating an automatic welding robot:
1. A pre-start check must be performed to ensure the equipment is in good working order before starting work.
2. Check that the voltage, air pressure, and indicator lights are normal, that the welding fixtures are intact, and that the workpieces are properly installed.

3. Check and clean the work area to ensure there are no flammable or explosive materials (such as oily rags, discarded oily gloves, paint, thinner, etc.).
4. There should be a partition between the two fixture stations to ensure good and adequate light shielding. The passageways between welding stations must be kept clear.

II. Precautions for Operating the Automatic Welding Robot:
1. Ensure there are no other personnel within the robot's operating area before starting the robot.
2. Wear long-sleeved work clothes, work gloves, and safety glasses. Do not wear shoes that expose the instep to prevent burns from welding slag.
3. Keep fingers, hair, clothing, etc., away from the rotating parts of the wire feeding device to prevent accidents caused by entanglement.
4. Operate with precision and focus. Place the workpiece in the correct position, ensure the clamping devices of the fixtures are firmly engaged, and remove the welded workpiece from the welding area.
5. No other personnel are allowed to enter the robot's operating area while welding is in progress.

6. If any abnormalities are found during robot operation or welding quality issues, immediately stop the machine and report for repair. Unauthorized personnel must not attempt to tamper with the robot.
7. Cleaning the work area, wiping the robot body, debugging, and maintenance must only be performed after the robot has been stopped.
