Functionality of the Universal Plate Rolling Machine

The upper roller universal plate rolling machine employs a unique and precise bending process, featuring high-precision end pre-bending, continuous bending without a rear angle, and a digitally controlled human-machine interface for the bending process. Plate rolling machines are suitable for bending and deforming metal sheets. They can roll round, arc-shaped, and conical workpieces within a certain range, and have a pre-bending function for the sheet ends. The two lower rollers are driving rollers that can move horizontally, while the upper roller is a driven roller that can move vertically. The movement can be mechanical or hydraulic. All drive shafts are connected by universal couplings.

1. Before starting the universal plate rolling machine, check all parts for any abnormalities. Ensure all fastening nuts are tight, the brakes are functioning reliably, and strictly adjust the drum distance according to the sheet thickness. Do not overload the machine or roll workpieces beyond its functional specifications.

2. During operation, the workpiece must be placed stably and correctly before starting the machine. Clear signals and a designated person should direct the operation.

3. Do not place your hands on the rolled steel plate during operation, and do not use a template for inspection. Check the roundness with a template only after stopping the machine. When rolling non-circular workpieces, leave a certain amount of allowance at the end of the roll to prevent the workpiece from falling and causing injury.

4. During operation, no one should stand on the workpiece, and the roundness of the rolled cylinder should not be replicated.

5. For rolling thick, large-diameter cylinders or workpieces made of high-strength materials, the rolling mill should be lowered and the rolling process repeated multiple times. When rolling narrow cylinders, they should be placed in the center of the rolls.

6. After the workpiece enters the rolls, avoid getting your hands or clothing caught in them.

7. If any abnormal noises are observed during operation of the plate rolling machine after shutdown, it should be inspected and repaired immediately. After stopping the machine, the workpiece should be placed in the designated location.
