Three-roll and four-roll plate rolling machines are two main types of forming machinery used for bending, rounding, and straightening metal sheets. The mechanical three-roll plate rolling machine is used to roll steel sheets into cylindrical shapes. The upper roller pressing down is powered by a motor through a reducer, drive roller, worm gear, and lead screw. The rolling drive is achieved by the main motor driving the lower roller to rotate through the main reducer and open gear, making it the active roller during rolling. Because the elevation of the lower roller remains constant, it facilitates feeding and operation.

The main structure of the three-roll plate rolling machine consists of an upper roller assembly and pressing device, a lower roller assembly, a main drive device, a tilting device, left and right side frames, and a base.
1. Plate Rolling Machine Upper Roller and Pressing Device: The upper roller assembly consists of an upper roller, upper roller bearing housing, etc. The upper roller is made of 45# steel forging, heat-treated to HB245-285. Sliding bearings are installed in the bearing housings at both ends of the upper roller. The upper roller sliding bearings are made of SF-2 composite material. The pressing device is powered by an auxiliary motor, which mechanically transmits torque through a reducer, worm gear, and lead screw nut, driving the upper roller to move up and down. The worm gear and nut are made of zinc-based alloy ZA27; the worm is made of 45# forging, heat-treated to HB245-285.

2. Lower Roller Assembly: The lower roller assembly consists of a lower roller, lower roller bearing housing, lower roller open gear, lower roller sliding bearing, etc. The lower roller is the driving roller, transmitting torque to the lower roller through the main drive output gear, lower roller open gear, etc. The lower roller is made of 45# steel forging, heat-treated to HB245-285; the lower roller gear is also made of 45# steel, heat-treated to HB245-285, and the tooth surface is high-frequency quenched to HRC45-50. The lower roller sliding bearing is made of SF-2 composite material.

3. Main Drive Unit: The main drive unit consists of a main motor, gear reducer, brake, etc.
4. Tilting Device: The tilting device consists of a tilting frame, pins, etc.
5. Left and Right Side Frames and Base: The left and right side frames and base are welded steel plates, treated with vibration aging after welding.
Electrical Control System: The control system consists of an electrical control cabinet and an operating console. Power supply: 380V/50Hz. The main switch has short-circuit protection and overload protection for the main motor. The motor's forward and reverse rotation is controlled by an AC contactor; high-voltage control components include circuit breakers, fuses, contactors, thermal relays, buttons, switches, indicator lights, etc. To ensure operational and equipment safety, limit switches are installed at the ends of all moving parts of the equipment, and an emergency stop button is located on the fixed side of the frame. The control cabinet is equipped with all control buttons and indicator lights for the entire product rolling process, enabling control of the machine's operation and various working states.
