1. The light energy generated by the laser can be transmitted to a distant workstation via a very small diameter optical fiber, allowing the robot to weld the workpiece.

2. The power and size of the laser focus can be adjusted according to processing requirements, while the processing process is monitored in real time, enabling a wide range of applications.

3. High laser power, small heat-affected zone, minimal deformation, and fast welding speed.

4. High-quality welds: smooth, aesthetically pleasing, and free of porosity; the post-weld material toughness is at least equivalent to the base material.

5. Short-duration localized heating has minimal heat impact on the substrate and surrounding parts, resulting in excellent weld quality.

6. Using laser welding robots eliminates the need for numerous templates and tooling equipment, halving the workshop space and saving investment.

Laser welding robots cause minimal deformation to the welded workpiece, resulting in virtually no gaps between welds and achieving greater depth and width of welds. Therefore, the weld quality is higher than that of traditional welding methods. Automated laser welding is achieved by adjusting welding process parameters through feedback control.
