Working Principle and Structural Features of a Three-Roll Profile Bending Machine
A profile bending machine is a high-efficiency processing equipment specifically designed for bending various irregularly shaped steel materials such as angle steel, channel steel, I-beams, flat steel, square steel, and round steel. It can complete the rolling and straightening processes in a single feeding operation.

Our company's three-roll profile bending machine is designed and manufactured using advanced foreign technology. It mainly consists of a bed, side rollers, support rollers, transmission system, electrical system, hydraulic system, and molds. The three-roll profile bending machine has a pre-bending function. All three working rollers are main drive rollers, driven by hydraulic motors and gears. The two lower rollers are hydraulically driven, and they can move in an arc around a fixed rotation center. Support rollers and straightening guide rollers are located on both sides of the working rollers, which helps ensure the rolling quality of profiles with asymmetrical cross-sections (such as angle steel).
The straightening roller of the three-roll profile bending machine has three movements:
(1) It can move up and down;
(2) It can move up and down in an arc simultaneously with the lower roller;
(3) It can rotate simultaneously to ensure the forming quality of the profile during the rolling process.

The lifting displacement of the two lower rollers is displayed digitally, which is clear and intuitive. The machine is equipped with an independent operating table for easy operation. The machine bed is a welded steel plate structure and is annealed to eliminate internal stress. The side rollers are installed in the cavity of the bed. Through the two side roller cylinders, the side rollers can move up and down in an arc around the central axis along the arc groove on the bed. The support rollers are installed on the left and right rotating arms. They can move in an arc with the side rollers. At the same time, through the support roller rotation cylinder and the support roller lifting cylinder, they can rotate and lift around the rotating arms at a specified angle. The lifting of the side roller cylinders is equipped with a digital display device for easy operation. The machine has sufficient strength and rigidity to bend profiles within its capacity. By changing the mold, it can roll and bend profiles such as angle steel, flat steel, square steel, channel steel, I-beams, round steel, and steel pipes.
